Deleting your LearnThai data
For every account, including those that sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook
Option 1: Delete your account in the app (recommended)
- Sign in to LearnThai on the web or in the mobile app.
- If you have a monthly or yearly subscription, cancel it first (Profile → Manage or cancel subscription, or your App Store / Google Play settings). Deleting your account does not stop a subscription.
- Go to Profile, choose Delete Account and confirm.
On the web, deletion happens immediately and you see a confirmation when it is complete. Want a copy of your data first? Use Profile → Download my data.
Option 2: Email request
Send an email to [email protected] with:
- Subject: Data Deletion Request
- Body: the email address of your LearnThai account
We verify that the request comes from the account owner, delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, display name, password hash and sign-in connections
- All learning progress: lessons, exercise results, vocabulary reviews, XP, level, streaks, achievements
- Your leaderboard entry
- Streak-reminder registrations
- Your premium status and your customer record at RevenueCat, our subscription provider
- The copies of your data stored in the browser you delete from (sign out on your other devices)
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records held by Stripe (web) or Apple / Google (mobile), for as long as tax and anti-fraud laws require.
- Database backups, which rotate automatically: your data disappears from them within 5 weeks.
- Server logs (IP address, pages requested), which expire automatically after a short period.
- Usage statistics, which are anonymous and cannot be linked back to you.
Revoking sign-in access
You can also remove LearnThai from the account you sign in with:
- Google: Google Account → Security → Third-party apps
- Apple (mobile app): Apple ID → Sign-In and Security → Sign in with Apple
- Facebook (mobile app): Settings → Apps and Websites
Note: revoking access stops you signing in, but does not delete your data. Use option 1 or 2 for that.
