How to Delete Your Data

If you wish to permanently delete your LearnThai account and all associated data, you have three options:

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the LearnThai app (mobile or web)
2. Go to your Profile page
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
4. Confirm your decision when prompted

Your account and all data (progress, vocabulary, stats, subscription info) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to [email protected] with:

• Subject: Data Deletion Request
• Body: Include the email address associated with your LearnThai account

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

Option 3: Revoke OAuth Access

If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple, you can also revoke LearnThai's access through your provider's settings:

• Facebook: Go to Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove LearnThai
• Google: Go to Google Account → Security → Third-party apps → Remove LearnThai
• Apple: Go to Apple ID → Security → Apps Using Apple ID → Stop Using Apple ID for LearnThai

Note: Revoking OAuth access will prevent you from logging in, but it does NOT automatically delete your data from our servers. To fully delete your data, use Option 1 or 2 above.

What Data Gets Deleted?

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your email, display name, and profile information
• All learning progress (lessons, exercises, vocabulary, XP, streaks)
• Subscription and premium status data
• Authentication tokens (you will be logged out)

Exception: Some data may be retained for legal or security purposes (e.g., transaction records for accounting, logs for fraud prevention) as required by law. This data is anonymized where possible and deleted after the legal retention period expires.
